I hate it when people thinks it is okay to put their hands on someone else’s children.  We went to a playground and my charges (3 preschool aged boys) were playing with another little boy.  As many of us know, boys are generally into the whole “rough and tumble” play.  This boy seemed to be enjoying himself and they started using their fingers as mock star wars weapons.  The mother of the other boy yelled at one of my boys (the oldest) and said not to play with her son.  I let it go, but the other boy came back and wanted to play.  The mother than grabs my charge by the arm, starts pointing in his face, and screaming at him about how she doesn’t want him to play with her little boy and she doesn’t like guns.  How dare she GRAB a five year old child who isn’t her own! I had to interfere and really, she’s lucky I didn’t get security involved.

One Response to “Nanny Rant”

  1. NannyCamStore Says:

We have been contacted by a few concerned Nannies. We have sold some Hidden Spy cams for their own protection. When one client’s employer noticed bruises on their precious gems. The marks were from the kids playing in the park and as you said … the rough and tumble little darlings received scrapes and bruises. They were jumping off swings and the play sets. Naturally the employer questioned/accused the Nanny… so the next time it happened, the Nanny showed the video of the boys playing and the nanny nursing their wounds.
